  Visible \Vis"i*ble\, a. [L. visibilis, fr. videre, visum, to
     see: cf. F. visible. See Vision.]
     1. Perceivable by the eye; capable of being seen;
        perceptible; in view; as, a visible star; the least spot
        is visible on white paper.
