Pathetic \Pa*thet"ic\, a. [L. patheticus, Gr. ?, fr. ?, ?, to suffer: cf. F. path['e]tique. See Pathos.] 1. Expressing or showing anger; passionate. [Obs.] [1913 Webster] 2.
