     pr. & vb. n. Recording.] [OE. recorden to repeat, remind,
     F. recorder, fr. L. recordari to remember; pref. re- re- +
     cor, cordis, the heart or mind. See Cordial, Heart.]
     1. To recall to mind; to recollect; to remember; to meditate.
