Quoth \Quoth\ (kw[=o]th or kw[u^]th), v. t. [AS. cwe[eth]an, imp cw[ae][eth], pl. cw[=ae]don; akin to OS. que[eth]an, OHG. quethan, quedan, Icel. kve[eth]a, Goth. qi[thorn]an. [root]22. Cf.
