  Indusium \In*du"si*um\, n.; pl. Indusia (-[.a]). [L., an under
     garment, fr. induere to put on: cf. F. indusie the covering

         and inclosing the stigma of a flower.
     (b) The immediate covering of the fruit dots or sori in many
