     Not congruous; reciprocally disagreeing; not capable of
     harmonizing or readily assimilating; inharmonious;
     inappropriate; unsuitable; not fitting; inconsistent;
     improper; as, an incongruous remark; incongruous behavior,
     action, dress, etc. ``Incongruous mixtures of opinions.''
