     pr. & vb. n. Flowing.] [AS. fl[=o]wan; akin to D. vloeijen,
     OHG. flawen to wash, Icel. fl[=o]a to deluge, Gr. plw`ein to
     float, sail, and prob. ultimately to E. float, fleet.
